Room Inés de Rocaspana
The Inés of Rocaspana Room is of standard dimensions and owes its name to the wife of the first owner of Lo Palauet in the 18th century. The most remarkable element is the headboard that recreates a Venetian landscape.
There is a wooden ceiling made by artisans, and its floor conserves the original bricks of Lo Palauet. The room is on the principal floor, and the window gives onto the indoor patio.
Our breakfast is served in the hall-canteen, at the big 18th century table, close by the wooden chimney. It is so valued among our customers. It consists of a generous mix of sweet and savoury taking into account the good advice that the French Brillat Savarin wrote in his Physiology of the taste of 1828, according to which “invite at table at somebody represents to commission of his happiness while it remain with us”. And we are very aware of this at Lo Palauet, so that from first moment we aim to maximise the pleasure of the palate.
